- How do I upload my files?
Files are uploaded into the public_html/ or www/ web directory of your site. When you connect
to the server via FTP your initial directory , this is your user directory. You
need to move up to web directory of the site. In most Windows-based FTP
clients you can set another starting path; insert /public_html as the initial
directory.
Reliaval recommends that our clients download ACEFTP2

- I uploaded a file to my directory, but I can't access it, why?
The most common cause for this problem is that you are not matching
capitalization. For instance, if you upload a file that you have named:
MyFile.html into your home directory, and then try to view the file by
typing http://www.yourdomain.com/myfile.html you will get a 404 (file
not found) error message.
Linux, like most Unix-like operating systems, is case sensitive, so myfile.html
is different than MyFile.html and MYFILE.HTML.
Also its not a good idea to use spaces in file names , ie. "my big image 4.jpg" , this will produce
on linux servers.. "my \big \ image\ 4.jpg" and in the browser ... "my20%big20%image20%4.jpg"
you can use "_" and "-" ie. my_big_image-4.jpg
